Please note: We are able to sell single strips to repair older mats @ a cost of £11.48 per linear metre as well as the binding which is charged @ a cost of £24.12 per linear metre. Looking After Your Rush Matting:

Rush matting is a fibrous product and, as such, requires moistening from time to time to keep it supple. In normal conditions the matting should be watered every four-six weeks with a hand-held garden sprayer, although this time frame may vary depending on variable factors such as exposure to sunlight, under-floor heating etc. The matting is easily cleaned with soapy water, a normal hand-held vacuum cleaner or using a brush.

Rush Matting does not require any underlay but will lie comfortably on stone, tile or wooden floors. It is a highly practical and durable alternative to traditional floor coverings which has been known to last for 20 years or more if lovingly taken care of.

Please note that should your mat begin to show signs of wear in particular places where it receives the most footfall we are able to carry out repairs replacing old or damaged strips with new ones.
